The Denver Broncos won’t pick until near the end of the second round in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Denver included the No. 30 overall pick in the trade to acquire wide receiver Jaylen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins this week.

The Broncos’ first selection in the 2026 NFL Draft, unless another trade is made, will be the No. 62 overall pick.

Denver could use another playmaker even after landing Waddle, so that could certainly be a draft possibility for the Broncos.

One option that would make sense for the Broncos is Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price, who recently took a pre-draft visit to Denver.

Jadarian Price describes his visit with Sean Payton and the Broncos

Price joined Up and Adams on Wednesday and he was asked about his recent visit with the Broncos.

The former Notre Dame standout admitted the visit was “intense”, though he also felt it went well.

“It was intense, I’m not going to lie,” said Price. “But a couple of interviews like that were intense. I mean, when you have the head coach and the GM and other position coaches in there, it’s gonna be intense. But you just gotta show you know football, and that you love football, and everything will take care of itself.”

“There’s a couple moments in interviews where they try to get you,” added Price. “You just gotta stay the course and stay calm, and I showed that I knew football. And they (Denver) congratulated me after and said I did a great job.”

Price would seemingly be a good fit for the Broncos, though he’ll have to show he can make a bigger impact in the passing game (15 receptions in three seasons at Notre Dame). The young running back could instantly provide value in the return game — something he says he’s willing to do in the NFL — while carving out a role in the offense.

The only problem for Denver is that Price probably still won’t be available when the Broncos pick at No. 62. So if the Broncos are going to land Price, they’ll likely need to trade up.
