The NFL has released the Detroit Lions' schedule, and just as expected, the Lions are all over national television this year. They will play in 12 nationally televised games. Here's what you have to look forward:

Sunday Night Football

Lions at Eagles

Here's the other mega showdown. The Lions are going up against the Super Bowl Champions in prime time. We already saw in 2023 how exciting the Lions vs the champs can be. The NFL is running that one back. On top of that, these two teams were constantly compared to each other ahead of the playoffs last year. Let's see how they play against each other. 

Lions at Chiefs 

The Lions went into Arrowhead back in 2023 and walked out with a win. Now they get a chance to do it again on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs were pretty unbeatable in 2024. Will they be that way again in 2025? 

Monday Night Football

Lions vs Buccaneers

Every time these two teams get together, it's a fun game. Both 2023 matchups were a good time, and the 2024 one was too. I don't think it's Sunday Night or Monday Night good, but this has Thursday Night on Prime written all over it. 

Lions vs Ravens

This one will probably scare some Lions fans after that big-time beatdown the Lions suffered at the hands of the Ravens in 2023. This is the game that probably every player in that Detroit locker room has circled on their calendar. 

Thursday Night Football

Lions at Vikings

Every time these two teams get together, it's a fun game. This year, they'll be spending Christmas together on Netflix. We'll see in Week 17 what these two teams look like record-wise, but this should be a very important game for the NFC North race when it's all said and done. 

Lions vs Cowboys 

The Lions sure got their revenge last year, didn't they? Sadly, they lost Aidan Hutchinson in the process. This time, the Lions bring the Cowboys in for a primetime game for a change.

Lions at Packers

Here's your Week 1 showdown and the game you'll be looking forward to all summer long. The Lions going to Lambeau early in the year is going to be very beneficial at the end of the season. 

Lions at Rams

Here's part four of this rivalry. The Lions have won the last two games. This time, they have to go to Los Angeles and right the wrongs from that 2021 matchup. 

Lions vs Commanders

I'm going to throw an extra prediction on top of this one. I believe this is the Lions' Week 1 matchup and the first Monday Night Football game of the year. The Divisional round game was a lot of fun for people who weren't Lions fans. I believe the league wants to see it again. 

Lions vs Bengals

This is going to be one of the most fun games of the year. I'm calling my shot on that one. Two teams with great quarterbacks and four of the best receivers in the league. It could be a shootout. 

Lions vs Steelers: CBS

The Lions will play the Steelers on CBS's version of AGOTW. It's going to be interesting to see who the quarterback of the Steelers is going to be for this one.
