The Detroit Lions are the best team in the NFL right now. I don't think that you can really dispute that at this time. So of course with Pro Bowl voting open, Lions fans may want to attack the ballots and and get in as many of their guys as they can. For the most part they can do that, but sadly they can't for one player.

Lions receiver Jameson Williams has been removed from the ballot due to his suspension. Players that are suspended for performance enhancing substances or performance enhancing drugs are automatically blocked from the Pro Bowl. They can't be voted in and they can't play.

Despite missing those two games, Williams has been pretty good this season. He's put up 602 yards and four touchdowns. He's also had some of the seasons most memorable plays. He has a chance of getting over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career if he's able to get at least 67 yards in the next six games each. To do that while missing tow games is pretty impressive if you ask me.

You might think that it's no big deal because you believe they won't play in this game anyways due to the Lions getting ready for the Super Bowl, but players do get pay bumps for making the Pro Bowl. so getting voted in helps them regardless of whether or not they play.

With that said, the ballots are up for the rest of the team and Lions fans have a job this year. That job is out vote 49ers fans who led he league in voting last year. Let's get Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown and company into this thing without having them be alternates.
