It absolutely sucks that Detroit Lions edge rusher Marcus Davenport just can't catch a break when it comes to injuries. He already missed Week 2 with a groin injury, now he's expected to potentially miss the rest of the 2024 season with an elbow injury. 

The sad thing is that it looks like it may have come as the result of a dirty move that I'm sure you've seen in many action movies. 

You'll see Davenport on the right of your screen in the bottom video. He's attempting to get past Cardinals tackle Paris Johnson here when Johnson takes his hand and then chops his forearm into Davenports arm while he's still holding the hand or wrist area. 

This is the exact moment where Davenport gets hurt. He's carted off the field after the play and now we wait to see what happens for him. This is seems like something that could draw a fine this Saturday. The NFL just can't have stuff like this. Everyone should be looking to take care of each other to a point out there.
