The Detroit Lions are already having some injury problems just two days into training camp. Defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike is out for the year with a torn ACL, and second-year cornerback Ennis Rakestraw left practice early on day one with a chest injury.

On Monday, Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Rakestraw's injury was nothing serious and that he would be out for just a few days. Then, later in the day, another player went down with an injury.

Running back Sione Vaki left practice early, and per the Lions, he's being evaluated for a leg injury. That is all we know at this time, and we will update this story as soon as an update is available from the Lions or a source close to the situation.

This is big for the Lions because on day one, he was earning some reps with the Lions' first team. The expectation is that he could someday be the David Montgomery replacement, and that the Lions were beginning to slowly head in that direction this summer. He had a productive day.

On the positive side of things, Craig Reynolds was one of the stars of day one, and the Lions still have a ton of trust in him.
