The Green Bay Packers will have a Sunday afternoon game against the Chicago Bears in week 18 after all, but it’s not an usual noon game.

The NFL announced the last regular season week slate, and they moved the Miami Dolphins-Buffalo Bills game to Sunday Night Football — the game will decide the AFC East title. The Packers-Bears rivalry game at Lambeau Field will be played at 3:25pm CT (4:25pm ET).

If the Packers win, they reach the playoffs with a 9-8 record. If they lose, they would need to get a difficult combination of results to get in.

Slate of games

The Bills-Dolphins game was an obvious choice for Sunday Night Football, as the game will decide a divisional title. However, there was still a chance that the Packers could have their game moved to Saturday.

The quick turnaround from Sunday night to Saturday would be a problem, so the NFL decided to keep the NFC North clash on Sunday afternoon.

The Saturday games will be Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens, and Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts.

Curiously, the other NFC North game, between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, will be played at noon CT.
