The Green Bay Packers had a fairly successful season in 2024. Even though it doesn't sound like it because the expectations were so high, Green Bay won two more games than in the previous season, and there are positives to make of it.

One of them is how much the coaching staff has been valued around the league, with requested interviews for both offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich and defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. There are also interesting developments for Packers' front office executives and lower-level coaching assistants.

The Packers have also made their own decisions, with quarterbacks coach Tom Clements retiring and the team firing defensive line coach Jason Rebrovich.

For you to keep track of everything, we will list here every coach and front office piece of news for the next couple of weeks.

Packers staff updates

> Quarterbacks coach Tom Clements has retired from the NFL. To replace him, the Packers promoted offensive assistant and former NFL quarterback Sean Mannion.

> The Packers have fired defensive line Jason Rebrovich. The Packers interviewed New York Jets DL coach Aaron Whitecotton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers DL coach/run game coordinator Kacy Rodgers, and Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Eric Washington. However, the final call was former New England Patriots defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington. Rebrovich was ultimately hired by the Buffalo Bills as an assistant DL coach.

> The Packers retained Luke Getsy, who finished the season a defensive consultant, and he will be a senior offensive assistant.

> The Packers hired Jamael Lett as a defensive backs quality control coach, according to CBS Sports national college football reporter. He spent the past season as a defensive coaching assistant for the New England Patriots, working primarily with DBs.

Subtractions

> The Jacksonville Jaguars have interviewed Packers linebackers coach/run game coordinator Anthony Campanile for their defensive coordinator position, and he was hired by new head coach Liam Coen. To replace him as a LB coach, the Packers promoted defensive assistant Sean Duggan.

> Campanile hired Packers defensive quality control coach Anthony Perkins to be the Jaguars secondary coach.

> Coaching assistant Myles White left the Packers to be a wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator at Syracuse.

Head coaching interviews

> The Chicago Bears requested an interview with Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich. However, the team hired Ben Johnson as their head coach.

> The New York Jets requested an interview with Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. The Jets hired Aaron Glenn.

> The Dallas Cowboys reportedly had some level of interest in Packers assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, but they hired Brian Schottenheimer as their next head coach.

Front office interviews

> The Tennessee Titans interviewed Packers vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan for their GM position. He has advanced to the second round of interviews, but Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi was hired.

> The New York Jets have also requested an interview with vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan for their GM position. Denver Broncos assistant GM Darren Mougey is the choice there, though.

> Jon-Eric Sullivan has also generated interest from the Jacksonville Jaguars, and interviewed for the GM job. However, the job went to Los Angeles Rams director of scouting James Gladstone, so Sullivan is staying around.

Lower-level assistant interviews

> The Houston Texans were interested in Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich for the same position. The final choice was Los Angeles Rams tight ends coach/pass game coordinator Nick Caley.

> The Seattle Seahawks interviewed Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich for their own OC job. It was possible because Stenavich would be a playcaller in Seattle. However, the Seahawks hired Klint Kubiak for the position.

> Before being hired by the Jaguars, Anthony Campanile had also interviewed for the San Francisco 49ers DC job, but that went to Robert Saleh.

> The Atlanta Falcons requested an interview with Packers defensive passing game coordinator Derrick Ansley for their defensive coordinator position. However, former Jets interim HC Jeff Ulbrich was hired.
