The Green Bay Packers have had an active free agency. General manager Brian Gutekunst agreed to sign with cornerback Benjamin St-Juste and wide receiver/kick returner Skyy Moore on Tuesday, while the team also released last year’s addition Nate Hobbs.

Malik Willis went to the Miami Dolphins, Kingsley Enagbare signed with the New York Jets, Quay Walker got a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, and Romeo Doubs went to the New England Patriots.

There are a lot of intriguing free agents left, and some of them could be solid options for the Packers to solve their own roster issues.

G Dylan Parham, Las Vegas Raiders

Parham is still young at 26 and has played significant snaps at both guard spots and at center. The Packers extended Sean Rhyan and Darian Kinnard, but they had to release Elgton Jenkins, and Rasheed Walker is still available in free agency. With Jordan Morgan presumably moving to a full-time left tackle, getting depth on the interior of the offensive line could be smart. Parham is not a high-ceiling player, but he’s viable both as a run blocker and a pass protector. There are some other solid options like Joel Bitonio and Kevin Zeitler, but they are much older.

IDL A’Shawn Robinson

Robinson was released by the Carolina Panthers and is the perfect solution for a big problem, exacerbated by the decision to trade Colby Wooden to the Indianapolis Colts for linebacker Zaire Franklin. The Packers need interior defensive linemen, preferably one who could reasonably play both the run and create some pressure. Even better, Robinson wouldn’t count toward the compensatory pick formula because he was released.

RB Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens

Mitchell suffered with injuries throughout his first three NFL seasons, but he’s an explosive, efficient runner. Last year, he had 3.34 yards after contact per attempt, which would be first on the Packers ahead of Chris Brooks (3.15), Josh Jacobs (3.06), and Emanuel Wilson (3.06) — obvious, the small sample helps in this type of stat, but Mitchell had even better numbers with a bigger sample as a rookie back in 2023. The Packers extended Brooks, but Wilson is still available, so it would make sense to evaluate and compare him with Mitchell.

EDGE AJ Epenesa, Buffalo Bills

We originally had Trey Hendrickson on this list. But since he signed with the Baltimore Ravens (which is a wild controversy after the Maxx Crosby trade debacle), we’re going with Epenesa. Joey Bosa could also be here, but Epenesa is 27 and could be a mid-term solution for the Packers. He wouldn’t be more than a rotational edge rusher. But with Micah Parsons getting back from injury, and after moving on from Rashan Gary and Kingsley Enagbare, the Packers need depth — especially to start the regular season.

QB Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals

Some rumors connected the Packers to Jimmy Garoppolo ahead of free agency, so the former 49er and Ram would be the most likely backup QB signed. But Joe Flacco is a better option because of his arm and his knowledge of the game to help Jordan Love. After Day 2, we put Kyler Murray and Geno Smith on this list, but Smith went to the New York Jets and it sounds like Murray will inevitably end up starting for the Minnesota Vikings.
