The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted linebacker Devin White with the fifth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent the entirety of his rookie contract in Tampa Bay, appearing in 76 games, recording 566 total tackles, 23 sacks, three interceptions, and nine forced fumbles.

His best season with the Buccaneers came in 2020 when he set his career highs with nine sacks and 140 total tackles. Since that season, though, White's production has steadily declined, which led the Bucs to let their former LB hit free agency instead of handing him a second contract with the team.

This offseason, White signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. While he made their 53-man roster, he was never active on game day, and they released him following Week 5. White is now looking to rejuvenate his career in Houston, and the Texans are hoping the dynamic LB from early in his career is still in there somewhere.
