The Indianapolis Colts have a young offense with exciting possibilities for the upcoming season.

And they have the attention of former NFL QB Chase Daniel.

Daniel had a 13-year NFL career that began in 2010 and played for six different teams.

  • New Orleans Saints four years (2010-2012, 2017)
  • Kansas City Chiefs three years (2013-2015)
  • Chicago Bears two years (2018-2019)
  • Los Angeles Chargers two years (2021-2022)
  • Detroit Lions one year (2020)
  • Philadelphia Eagles one year (2016)

Daniel sat behind multiple great QBs during his NFL career, such as Drew Brees, Alex Smith, and, most recently, Justin Herbert. So, I think it's safe to say he knows a high-powered offense when he sees them. And he believes the Colts are "sneaky good." He is a fan of the Colt's top four WRs: Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, Adonai Mitchell, and Alec Pierce. With him, giving an additional shout-out to the Colts rookie WR Mitchell in his comments.

So, the Colts will look to their 2024 fifth-round pick, Anthony Gould, to fill his starting spot for the time being. This will also allow Mitchell and Pierce to have a larger role in the Colts' offense while they compete for the final starting WR job.

The Colts placed a key 2023 reserve on IR and signed a replacement

On Wednesday, the Indianapolis Colts placed a 2023 spot starter on the injury reserve.  The team announced that they were placing center Wesley French on the IR.  Wesley French has been with the Colts since 2022 when he signed as an undrafted free agent. He made his debut on the team's active roster last season. […]

The Colts could be on the verge of missing out on a game-changing player

Fans of the Indianapolis Colts have been begging that the team sign free agent safety Justin Simmons for nearly the entire offseason. While he remains a free agent, Simmons is set to visit the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, according to Nick Underhill of New Orleans.Football.  Sources told A to Z Sports that the Colts are […]
