The Indianapolis Colts 2024 season has had plenty of ups and downs. But following their third straight loss, the fan base's morale seems to have hit an all-time low.

This loss has caused some fans to shift their focus from this year to 2025, with the hope of making the playoffs diminishing with each loss. And if you are one of those fans, we have you covered with a new two-round mock draft from A to Z Sports' own Ryan Roberts.

First Round:

Colts land Georgia safety Malaki Starks

"It appears that the Colts could be in the quarterback market once again, but this just isn’t the spot in the class to address it. Instead, they take arguably the best player on the board. Starks is a dynamic safety with Pro Bowl upside."

New A to Z Sports Mock Draft

The Colts' defense started out slow but has really come into its own over the past few weeks. One position that could be a big question mark this offseason is safety. Their top safety, Julian Blackmon, is set to become a free agent after the year. With so many different question marks on their roster, it could lead to the two sides parting ways. And it just so happens that one of the top players in the 2025 NFL Draft class is Georgia safety, Malaki Starks. Starks can play either safety spot and would slide right in to start opposite of Nick Cross.

Second Round:

Colts draft Penn State tight end Tyler Warren

In the second round, Roberts had the Colts draft Penn State TE Tyler Warren. Warren has shown himself to be a dynamic weapon in Penn State's offense this season. They use him in multiple different ways, and he is starting to look like one of the top TEs in the upcoming draft class. Warren would give the Colts a legitimate weapon at TE, which the team has been desperately looking for. I believe Antony Richardson will be back as the team's starter either later this season and/or in 2025. And if the Colts are going to support him better going forward, investing in a player like Warren who could develop into a reliable security blanket for the young QB and help take the Colts' offense to the next level.
