The Indianapolis Colts 2024 season came to an end with them picking up one final win in Week 18 over their AFC South rivals, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
At 8-9, they fell short of earning a spot in the NFL playoffs and now enter the offseason with the goal of improving their roster to make sure 2025 is a better season than fans experienced in 2024.
While we don't know who will and won't be on the Colts' roster next season, we do know who their home and away opponents will be. So, without further ado, here are the teams the Colts are set to face in 2025.
Colts 2025 Home Opponents
- Houston Texans
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Tennessee Titans
- Atlanta Falcons
- Denver Broncos
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Arizona Cardinals
- San Francisco 49ers
- Miami Dolphins
By finishing second in the AFC South, the Colts drew home matchups against fellow second-place finishers for the NFC South (Falcons) and AFC East (Dolphins.) They also are playing the entire AFC and NFC West, with their home games coming against the Broncos, Raiders, Cardinals, and 49ers. They will be hosting only two teams in 2025 that made the playoffs in 2024, the Texans and the Broncos. The other six matchups will come against teams that, like the Colts, missed out on the postseason due to their play this year. Though teams like the 49ers and Dolphins dealt with some significant injuries that hindered their ability to do so in 2024 and should be expected to improve drastically next year.
Colts 2025 Away Opponents
- Houston Texans
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Tennessee Titans
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Los Angeles Rams
- Seattle Seahawks
On paper, the Colts' away opponents seem to be significantly more difficult than their home slate. Five of their eight road matchups are against participants in the 2024 NFL playoffs, and the Seahawks fell just short by finishing just now spot shy as the eighth seed in the NFC. It also includes quite a bit of air miles, with the team heading west to travel to Los Angeles twice to take on the Chargers and Rams, along with traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. The team will also have the chance to travel to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, and who knows, they just might be coming off their third straight Super Bowl victory.
