The Indianapolis Colts had quite the group in attendance for Texas' Pro Day, but it seems they aren't finished scouting the Longhorns.

The Colts are set to host Texas WR Xavier Worthy for a top-30 visit in Indianapolis.

Worthy might have shown up on some of your radars the moment he broke the NFL Scouting Combine record for the fastest 40-yard dash with his 4.21 run.

His speed should excite people, but Worthy is more than just a straight-line runner. Worthy ended his three-year career at Texas with 197 catches for 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Worthy's draft range likely falls anywhere from the middle of the first round to the middle of the second round. The Colts hold pick 15 in round one and 46 in round two. A player like Worthy in Shane Steichen's offense would open up a world of opportunities for second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson and the Colts.

Worthy will now return to the place where he broke the 40-yard dash record in Indianapolis to meet with the Colts brass for a top-30 visit. The Colts will attempt learn more about Worthy, the person, and the player in this visit as they figure out the plan for their top picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. And who knows, maybe one of those picks will end up being Worthy.
