One of the biggest draft picks made by the Colts in 2022 was their selection of offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann with the 77th pick in the 3rd round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The team elected to take it slow with Raimann last year, but he would start 11 games for the Colts. He showed significant improvement as he continued to play, and this year, he seems to be taking a huge sophomore leap.

Raimann currently ranks as the 4th most efficient pass blocker among all NFL offensive tackles. The three ahead of him is elite company for Raimann to find himself with:

1. Penei Sewell & Tristian Wirfs (99.3)

3. Trent Williams (98.8)

4. Bernhard Raimann (98.5)

Just about every NFL too-early mock draft has the Colts taking an offensive tackle. And Raimann's play is quieting all of those people. He not only looks to force the Colts not to draft a tackle next year but seems to be positioning himself as the team's left tackle for the foreseeable future and be Anthony Richardson's blind side blocker.
