The Indianapolis Colts drafted WR Adonai Mitchell out of Texas with their 2nd round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

And they have now signed him to his rookie contract.

Mitchell now joins the rest of the Colts' 2024 NFL draft class by signing his rookie deal.

Mitchell played three seasons of college football, with him beginning his career in 2021 at Georiga. He appeared in 15 games and recorded 29 catches, 426 yards and four touchdowns. In his second season at Georiga, an injury caused him to only appear in six games, which led to him ending the season with just nine catches for 134 yards and three touchdowns.

He transferred away from Georiga for his final season to Texas. He set new career highs across the board with 55 receptions, 845 yards, and eleven touchdowns.

Mitchell is now expected to compete with third-year WR Alec Pierce for the Colts' final starting job in the WR room. Joining Michael Pittman Jr. on the outside with Josh Downs in the slot. Forming a young, intriguing WR room for 2nd year QB Anthony Richardson, who will be looking to make up for time missed last season with a big sophomore season.
