Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson is gearing up for his rookie season in the NFL. Drafted in the top-five of the 2023 draft, it's only a matter of time before the first-rounder takes over in Indy.

Richardson has already been impressing in OTAs for the Colts. There, Richardson has shown off his big arm and turned heads during practices. It's clear that many of his teammates are excited about what he brings to the table.

Even those outside of the organization are taking notice. That includes Tom Brady, who is considered to be the greatest of all time. Brady had some words of encouragement for the Colts rookie.

The Indianapolis Colts' quarterback was featured in a Fanatics short film where rookies receive a shoutout from legends of the game. It was Brady that had a message for Richardson as he enters the league.

“A lot of great friends tell me you’re a better person than you are a quarterback, which says a lot," Brady told Richardson in the clip. "Because I’ve seen some of those throws you make."

Brady made sure to compliment Richardson' off-field character while also acknowledging his on-field talent. The legendary quarterback seems to see something special in the Colts' signal caller.

Richardson is looking to emerge as the face of the franchise in Indianapolis. The organization has full confidence in him. And it doesn't hurt that Brady has offered words of encouragement.
