The Indianapolis Colts announced their practice squad elevations ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the Houston Texans.

As they elevated OG Arlington Hambright and WR Juwann Winfree.

Arlington Hambright:

The Colts decision to elevate Hambright shouldn't be too surprising, as starter Quenton Nelson is listed as questionable for this week's game. Hambright's elevation gives the team insurance if Nelson can't go and an extra guard if needed in the game on Sunday. Hambright actually made the Colts initial 53-man roster before being waived after the team added three players off of waivers.

Juwann Winfree:

For the 2nd straight week, the Colts have elevated WR Juwann Winfree. The WR had a solid preseason and showed his worth on special teams, as well as being a versatile WR that can be played in the slot or on the outside. With only 4 WRs on the active roster, a WR being called up was a must for the Colts. I wouldn't be shocked if the Colts elected to call Winfree up to their active roster full-time after this week.
