The Indianapolis Colts are entering the 2025 season with multiple big questions that must be answered by the end of the year.
One of, if not the biggest, questions surrounding the team is whether Anthony Richardson is going to be able to take a massive step forward to prove he can be their franchise quarterback. If he does, wins and success would likely follow. But if he doesn't, the 2026 NFL Draft class is expected to have multiple intriguing options the team could consider, one of which has a last name Colts fans and the NFL world have come to know very well over the years.
Another disappointing season for the Colts could come with a massive reward
"Print the jerseys. Go ahead! The Colts are entering 2025 with what has been described as an open competition between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones at quarterback.
Richardson will need a big year to take the pressure and negative perception off his status with the team. Jim Irsay would not be mad about landing (another) Manning."

In the 2024 NFL Draft, many Colts fans, including probably even their owner Jim Irsay, would have loved to land Marvin Harrison Jr., the son of franchise legend Marvin Harrison. Sadly, that wasn't in the cards, with Harrison Jr.'s impressive college career leading him to be drafted fourth overall by the Arizona Cardinals. Next year, though, the Colts may have another shot to bring a family member of a franchise legend back to Indianapolis.
Texas QB Arch Manning has been turning heads on the football field for quite some time. He ended up being the top high school quarterback in his recruiting class and ultimately committed to the University of Texas ahead of the 2023 season. He only appeared in two games his true freshman year before redshirting, and last year, he began the year as Quinn Ewers' backup but appeared in 10 games and made two starts for the Longhorns, throwing for 939 yards, nine touchdowns, and only two interceptions.
With Ewers moving on, Manning is set to enter the 2025-2026 college season as the day one starter for the first time in his career. Even with the lack of college starts, he is already being predicted to be a top 10 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, if he chooses to forego the rest of his college eligibility. Arch is the son of Eli and Peyton's brother Cooper Manning, which makes him their nephew. He looks primed to be the next great Manning QB in the NFL, and if the stars align for him to rep the horseshoe as a Colt, it would be a dream come true for many fans. Arch's uncle, Peyton, has a statue outside Lucas Oil Stadium, a stadium nicknamed "The Stadium Peyton Built."
A pair of former Indianapolis Colts’ day two draft picks are in serious jeopardy of not making the team’s 2025 53-man roster
The Indianapolis Colts made a handful of big moves to upgrade their roster and coaching staff this offseason. As a result, a pair of former Colts day two draft picks are likely looking over their shoulder heading into training camp. With the team hiring Lou Anarumo to be their new defensive coordinator, a high-profile free […]
