The Indianapolis Colts filled some big holes in the 2023 NFL Draft. None bigger than quarterback, where Anthony Richardson fills the void as the franchise signal caller for Shane Steichen and Chris Ballard.

Elsewhere, the Colts did a tremendous job of adding to the defensive backfield. That includes drafting Indianapolis native Julius Brents in the second-round, potential late-round gem Darius Rush in the fifth, and former five-star recruit Jaylon Jones in the final round.

But there's still work to be done. Indianapolis would be wise to continue adding to the offensive line in order to protect Richardson and pave lanes for Jonathan Taylor. Fortunately, there's a few options to choose from on the free agency market.

The Indianapolis Colts have a need at right guard, to be more specific. Quenton Nelson holds things down at the other guard position. Ryan Kelly has the center spot locked down. Therefore, Indy needs to solidify the final spot of the interior.

Dalton Risner is available to sign with any team after four seasons with the Denver Broncos. He is a veteran presence that has started 62 games in his career. He would provide a reliable option at a position of need.

AJ Cann is another option that Indianapolis could look into. Cann has played all eight seasons of his NFL career in the AFC South, seven with the Jacksonville Jaguars and last year with the Houston Texans.

Which means that the Colts are likely very familiar with the 31-year old who has started more than 100 games in his career. Finally, Trai Turner is also on the market. He played six seasons with the Carolina Panthers and was most recently on the Washington Commanders.

Overall, the Colts have a big need at guard following the NFL Draft. Former Alabama starter Emil Ekiyor Jr. was signed as an undrafted free agent, and he has a chance to make the roster. But there's talent to be had for Indianapolis.
