A historical day from Colts RB Jonathan Taylor included him joining the franchises record books.
It never feels right to say one player won a game, but if there were ever one to say that, it would be Jonathan Taylor’s performance in Week 10.
The Indianapolis Colts pulled out an overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. His outstanding game is one he will remember forever because he etched his name into the Colts’ record books. Taylor officially passed Edgerrin James for the most rushing touchdowns in the Colts’ franchise history.

Jonathan Taylor is now the Colts’ all-time rushing touchdowns leader
Taylor passed James in style with a monster run for 83 yards. Taylor now has 65 rushing touchdowns and 14 on the season. He has been the best RB in football this season and is arguably the frontrunner for the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year.
And what a day he had to etch his name into the record books. He finished with 286 total yards, 244 of which were on the ground. He also punched in three touchdowns, including a run of 83, which is his career long and the longest run of any player this season. And it was only right that he also got to end the game with a walk-off touchdown in overtime, helping the Colts improve to 8-2.
Taylor is one of the best RBs in the Colts’ history, and he should have many more games ahead of him repping the horseshoe. To make this moment a bit sweeter, the Colts posted on social media ahead of the game that James was one of a few former Colts players in Germany for the weekend. So James got to see Taylor pass him in rushing touchdowns in person.
