The Indianapolis Colts continue to move in the right direction ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
QB Anthony Richardson practiced for a third straight day, which should point toward him being active for the team's Week 4 matchup.
While the Colts starting QB practiced for a third straight day, center Ryan Kelly had today off. Both are in the process of returning from concussions they suffered in Week 2, forcing both to miss the team's Week 3 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Friday Injury Report:
Ready to go for Week 4:
- QB Anthony Richardson
- CB Dallis Flowers
- OT Braden Smith
- DT Grover Stewart
Along with QB Anthony Richardson, the team gave no designation for starters Dallis Flowers, Braden Smith, and Grover Stewart. This means they are all good to go for this Sunday's game vs. the Rams.
Questionable:
- DT DeForest Buckner
- OG Quenton Nelson
- QB Sam Ehlinger
For the 2nd straight week, Nelson missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices but was able to practice on Friday. This looks good for his possible availability against Aaron Donald and the Rams this week.
Buckner did not practice at all this week and feels like he holds a truly questionable designation. He is a player who, in the past, has shown he can play on game day without practicing, so I wouldn't quite rule him out just yet.
Ruled out for Week 4:
- OC Ryan Kelly
- OT Bernhard Raimann
Again this week, the Colts will be without two players due to concussions. Ryan Kelly will miss his 2nd straight week, and now LT Bernhard Raimann has also entered the league's concussion protocol after experiencing symptoms that caused him to miss today's practice. The Colts will now be without two starting offensive linemen and will look to Wesley French and rookie Blake Freeland to fill in for Kelly and Raimann.
