The Indianapolis Colts are preparing for their most important game of the season.

With their matchup with the Houston Texans being flexed to Saturday night football. While this adds to the excitement, both teams now have one less day to prepare.

The Colts were without backup RB Zack Moss and starting slot CB Kenny Moore II for their Week 17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Moss seemed to make solid progress toward a return last week, but the team elected to rule him out on Friday. Moore II was a late addition to the Colts injury report last week as he didn't practice on Friday and was a game-time decision due to a back injury. While he tried to go, the team decided he wasn't ready, making him inactive for Week 17.

The hope is that both will be back this week for the most important game of the season to date, but we will have to see how they progress on the team's injury report first. Starting with Tuesday, where the team held a walkthrough instead of their typical Wednesday setup due to their game falling on Saturday this week.

Tuesday Injury Report:

Did Not Practice:

  • Ryan Kelly
  • Chris Lammons
  • Quenton Nelson

Light Participant:

  • Kenny Moore II
  • Zack Moss
  • Braden Smith

Full Participant:

  • Taven Bryan
  • Isaiah Land
  • Tyquan Lewis
  • Cameron McGrone

The injury report is certainly long to start the week. But with this game being so important, getting players rested will likely occur more than normal. I'd be pretty shocked if any of the starters listed weren't active for Saturday at this time. But we wl have to wait to see how the week progresses.
