The Indianapolis Colts decided to take a shot on a high-upside but raw prospect in Bernhard Raimann during the 2022 NFL Draft, and they are already seeing the reward.

As Raimann has allowed the lowest pressure rate of any offensive tackle selected in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Colts selected Bernhard Raimann with the 77th pick in the 3rd round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He was the sixth offensive tackle selected in the 2022 NFL Draft and the 17th offensive lineman drafted.

This wasn't a situation where the Colts had a veteran left tackle who could show Raimann the ropes while he developed. He was drafted with no apparent option at the left tackle position. A converted depth guard (Matt Pryor) was the Week 1 starter at the position. Once the Colts finally made the move to Raimann as their LT last year, he had some rookie struggles that caused some fans to worry about his ability at the pro level.

Down the stretch last season, Raimann started to quiet his doubters through his strong play. And he has picked up right where he left off this season. He has started to look like one of the best offensive linemen from his class, and in my opinion, he has cemented himself as the Colts long-term starting LT. He will be tasked with blocking for Anthony Richardson's blindside going forward.
