Longtime fans of the Indianapolis Colts may feel some deja vu watching the Buffalo Bills' heartbreaking losses in the playoffs in recent years to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. That is because they still remember the feeling of being unable to get past Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
Colts legendary center Jeff Saturday remembers that feeling but also remembers how it felt when they finally got over that hump. He used his past experiences to share some advice with Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills, and the Bills mafia.
Jeff Saturday gives advice to Josh Allen and the Bills on their tough losses to the Chiefs in recent years

Just keep pursuing it the way you have been. The reality is you're losing to the best in the business, and they may three-peat, which would put them as the greatest dynasty in the sport. Its not like you're not getting there, youve had some heartbreakers like we (the Colts) did with the Patriots. We lost in the AFC championship game and a Divisional game, two tight games, and we finally found a way to beat them. You don't want to change who you are they have a great offensive line, a great quarterback, running game, the receivers are coming along they have a good defense, everything is in place. Unfortunately, they are running into the buzzsaw that is the Kansas City Chiefs that everybody hasn't been able to knock off in the last two years and potentially three."
– Colts legend Jeff Saturday's advice to Josh Allen and the Bills
The first loss Saturday was referencing came in 2004, when the Colts lost in the AFC Championship by a score of 24 to 14; the second came the very next year when the Patriots won 20-3. They got the win they so desired in 2007, though, when the Colts pulled out a 38-34 victory over the Patriots in the AFC Championship, where they ultimately went on to win the Super Bowl.
There are probably multiple fan bases and former players who played against the Patriots during their dynasty who could offer similar words of wisdom to the Bills and their fans. And I think Saturday hit the nail on the head in his words to Buffalo. The worst thing they could do was try to overcorrect and find themselves in an even worse situation as a result. You have to assume their time will come, and for the team and their fans, I hope it comes with a win over the Chief,s so it feels even sweeter.

Former Colts coach has landed on his feet with a new coaching position in the NFL thanks to a strong relationship from his past
It didn't take too long for a former Indianapolis Colts coach to land on his feet.
