Indianapolis Colts LB Zaire Franklin continued his incredible 2023 season in Week 3, adding 15 more tackles to his league-leading total.

His 45 tackles after three weeks puts him on pace to break an NFL record that has stood since 1993.

Franklin, year in and year out, has taken a step forward in the NFL. And this year, he has been on a tear. He has been everywhere on defense and, honestly, has looked like the team's MVP through the first three weeks. His play warrants the conversation of him being named to his first Pro Bowl and even an All-Pro.

As seen in the tweet above, this level of play has him on pace to break the long-standing NFL total tackles in a season record. He is on pace to total 255 tackles, which would not only beat the current record of 214, it would smash it. The record isn't broken via pace, though; Franklin has to keep up his incredible 2023 play for the rest of the season to do so. But this is something we have to monitor throughout the season.
