Following joint practice with the Philadelphia Eagles Tuesday, head coach Shane Steichen announced that starting QB Anthony Richardson will start in the team's preseason finale vs the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday.

Things were up in the air for Saturday's preseason home opener for the Colts when it came to whether or not the starters would play after joint practices with the Chicago Bears. To many fan's dismay, the team would elect to sit the majority of their starters. After the game ended, the reason given by Steichen was that they viewed the joint practices with the Bears as equivalent to live game reps.

With only one game left before the regular season arrives, all eyes went to Philadephia to see if the Colts would make the same decision—this time around though, QB 1 will be under center. Fans will see their starting QB one more time before Week 1 of the regular season, where Richardson will begin his reign as the Colts full-time starter.
