With the 2024 NFL season around the corner, many are looking back to the 2023 season for various reasons.

Tyler Webb of Sleeper HQ found a lot of interesting information on the price most fans have to pay to experience an NFL game at their favorite team's home stadium.

And it showed just how lucky fans of the Indianapolis Colts should feel.

The Colts came in below the league's average price for every category listed above except for the cost of buying four hot dogs, which came in 30 cents higher than the league average at 23 dollars.

The most important price listed in Webb's post is the price of the cheapest tickets to enter the stadium. Because if you don't purchase the game ticket, you don't even have the ability to buy anything else listed. And the cheapest ticket to a Colts home game is the second most affordable in the entire NFL, just ahead of the Atlanta Falcons.

The graph above states that the price to buy four of the cheapest tickets at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2023 came out to $247.11. Dividing this by four tells us that a single ticket went for just over 61 dollars. Tickets being so affordable may not be what the Colts want. But it is incredible for the team's fans.

To put this even more into perspective, the graph in the original post above states that the average cost to buy four tickets to an NFL game last season was $550.65. That is more than double the cost of purchasing four tickets to a Colts home game in 2023. So, if you didn't feel lucky to be a Colts fan before, I think you should certainly be feeling that way now.

A deep dive into the Indianapolis Colts’ most notable 2025 free agents

During the 2024 NFL offseason, the Indianapolis Colts made their in-house free agents their main priority.  The team re-signed 10 of their own free agents and only brought in two players who played for another NFL team last season, Joe Flacco and Raekwon Davis.  And with the 2024 season around the corner, I thought we […]
