The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine has ended, and the Indianapolis Colts spent time with many of the top prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.

A player that many were shocked to hear on that list was star WR Rome Odunze out of Washington.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport shared nine teams that met with Odunze, including the Colts. He even mentioned that they are part of a group of four teams that he views as a team that could look to trade up for the WR.

Colts GM Chris Ballard has made it very clear that they want to be more explosive on the offensive side of the ball. And it's led many, including myself, to look at pass catchers as a top option for the team at pick 15. Some options that have been thrown around for that pick are Georiga TE Brock Bowers, LSU WR Brian Thomas Jr., and Texas WR Adonai Mitchell.

We haven't heard Rome Odunze's name shared much because he didn't seem like a realistic option at pick 15. But as Rapoport said, he would be an obvious fit for the Colts if they elected to trade up. One could even argue that he is the best fit at the WR position for the Colts offense specifically.
