The 2024-2025 NFL Schedule was released Wednesday night.
This gave us the complete Indianpolis Colts schedule, which includes them opening up the year against their AFC South rival, the Houston Texans.
And oddsmakers are betting against the Colts.
According to Draft Kings Sportsbook, the Colts open up as a 1.5 underdog against the Texans for their Week 1 matchup in Indianapolis. To be a home underdog stings, but it gets even worse.
The Colts are the only home team not to be favored in their matchup in throughout the 16-game slate. The entire slate with the current spread can be seen below.

This is excellent bulletin board material for the Colts, with them already being slighted. The Texans are the defending AFC South champions, and I fully understand them being viewed as the favorites in the division. But the Colts were quite literally a completed short pass away from beating the Texans in Week 18 last year without Anthony Richardson. So I, for one, am excited to watch these two teams battle it out this season, and we don't have to wait long with them kicking it off in Week 1.
