The Indianapolis Colts are celebrating the rare victory Sunday after picking up the needed win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They are now 8-6 on the year and have positioned themselves inside the AFC playoff picture. While they don't play today, they will be rooting for multiple outcomes.
Taking a look at the remaining Week 15 slate, there are four games that have an impact on the Colts directly.
- Chicago Bears (5-8) @ Cleveland Browns (8-5)
- Houston Texans (7-6) @ Tennessee Titans (5-8)
- Dallas Cowboys (10-3) @ Buffalo Bills (7-6)
- Baltimore Ravens (10-3) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (8-5)
Bears @ Browns
The Colts will be rooting for the Bears to upset the Browns today. The Browns are currently the fifth seed in the AFC and entered Week 15 a game above the Colts at 8-5. With a Browns loss, the Colts will have covered some ground in the AFC wildcard race.
Texans @ Titans
In Week 15, a battle of AFC South foes will take place. The Colts will root for the Titans to take down the short-handed Texans, who will be without their star rookie QB, CJ Stroud. The Texans entered the week with the same record as the Colts, so a loss would give the Colts more cushion on their wildcard spot.
Cowboys @ Bills
This will be one of the best games of the week, and the Colts will hope the Cowboys can stay hot and take down the Bills. The Bills are another team that entered the week with the same record as the Colts. Many around the league are probably hoping the Bills can put together a late-season run to make the postseason, but the Colts will be hoping they fall short, which starts with a loss to the Cowboys.
Ravens @ Jaguars
Another must-watch will be the Ravens vs. the Jaguars. This one is different from the other matchups listed, as it doesn't affect the Colts wildcard standing. But it could be huge for the Colts chances of winning the AFC South. A Jaguars loss would put both teams at 8-6 on the year, and while the Jaguars hold the tiebreaker over the Colts, it would give them a fighting chance down the stretch.
