The Indianapolis Colts got back in the win column in Week 9, and one defensive player specifically played a massive part.

CB Kenny Moore II became the first player in Colts history to record two pick-sixs in the same game.

This season has been a massive bounce-back year for the veteran corner after a down year in 2022. And Week 9 was the biggest game of the season and arguably his career.

Moore II's Week 9 Stats:

  • 2 interceptions (Both returned for touchdowns)
  • 2 pass deflections
  • 8 total tackles
  • 7 solo tackles

Moore II's incredible Week 9 performance already has etched his name in the Colts record books, but he should also earn an NFL award for his efforts. I have a hard time imagining any defensive performance from Week 9 topping Moore II's, which should lead to him being named the NFL's Week 9 Defensive Player of the Week.
