The Indianapolis Colts had to get a win in Week 9, and they got the job done.
They defeated the Carolina Panthers 27-23 and improve to 4-5 on the year.
Colts Offense:
The Colts streak of scoring 20+ points contained this week, but the offense owes a big thank you to Kenny Moore II's two pick six's. This was one of the worst throwing performances we've seen from Garnder Minshew this season. From the beginning of this one he just seemed off with the majority of his throws. He will have to be better going forward if the Colts want to turn this season around. On the bright side, the Colts had no offen sive turnovers this week, which is a step in the right direction.
Colts Defense:
After three straight weeks of giving up at least 37 points the Colts defense needed a turnaround game, and they got it. They only allowed 13 points this week, and intercepted rookie Bryce Young three times. Two of those being by Kenny Moore II, who returned both for touchdowns. The teams defensive line forced Young to be uncomfortable throughout this one, as they sacked Young four times.
Stat Leaders:
Passing
Gardner Minshew: 17/26 (65.4%), 127 yards, 1 touchdown
Rushing
Jonathan Taylor: 18 rushes, 47 yards
Receiving
Michael Pittman Jr.: 8 receptions, 64 yards

Sacks
DeForest Buckner, Dayo Odeyingbo, Adetomiwa Adebawore: 1 sack
Interceptions:
Kenny Moore II: 2 interceptions (Both returned for touchdowns)
