Last season, Pittman Jr. had to fight through a back fracture for pretty much most of the year. It hindered his ability to put up the type of stats the team has become accustomed to seeing him produce. So they have been very excited to see him begin 2025 back at full health.

According to The Athletic's James Boyd, Pittman Jr. went down after running routes and limped off the field and wasn't able to return to practice. We will likely have to wait until next week, during minicamp, to get an update from Steichen on what exactly happened with Pittman. If he has to miss minicamp, the Colts will officially be down both of their top two WRs, with Josh Downs still dealing with a soft tissue injury that has kept him out of most of the spring. Hopefully, Pittman Jr. avoided any serious injury and will be fully healthy by training camp. If he has to miss next week's mini-camp, I don't think that should cause anyone to panic. He's a veteran player that the team knows what they are getting from him when he's healthy. The main goal will be making sure he's healthy by the time the team reports for training camp on July 22.
