There's not much positive to talk about now involving the Indianapolis Colts. 

The team's devasting loss to the New York Giants in Week 17 left most fans angry or completely checked out until the offseason. 

However, Raekwon Davis has been recognized for his work off the field, which should be celebrated even if the team is disappointing fans on the field. 


Raekwon Davis named the NFLPA's Week 18 Community MVP

Davis has been named the NFLPA's final Community MVP of the week ahead of the team's Week 18 matchup vs. Jacksonville Jaguars.

The event the NFLPA highlighted for this was his work with the Salvation Army to host his fifth annual Rae's Elves holiday shopping spree. Davis gave kids a $100 gift card that they could spend to make some of their holiday wishes come true. Here is what the NFLPA had to say about Davis and this event. 

"Raekwon Davis is the Week 18 NFLPA Community MVP. After hosting the fifth annual Rae's Elves holiday shopping spree!

This year, treating over 350 kids, oh what a sight, Each received a $100 gift card that mae their faces bright!

More than 1,500 people helped through the years, Thanks to Rae bringing Christmas cheers!

This is the final spot on our 2024-2025 CMVP Parade. It was a journey of many amazing deeds displayed. 

The players will continue to help those less fortunate out. That's what the NFLPA Community MVP is all about."
