The Indianapolis Colts (3-5) decided they needed an additional CB for this week's matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

So, the team elevated CB Chris Lammons from their practice squad.

This will be the 2nd straight week the Colts elevate Lammons for game day. He logged 18 snaps in Week 8, all coming during special teams. While Lammons most likely role is on special teams, he offers the Colts another depth CB with experience playing in the slot.

Before joining the Colts this offseason, Lammons spent the previous three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won a Super Bowl last season. With this being the 2nd time the Colts have used a practice squad elevation on Lammons, he only has one more time eligible before he'd need to be added to the active roster to dress on game day.
