Zack Moss currently leads the NFL in missed tackles forced.
So far through the first three weeks of the season, according to Pro Football Focus, Zack Moss leads the NFL in missed tackles forced with 16. The only player with the same amount as Moss is San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffery. What makes this even more impressive is that Moss has only been active for two of the team's three games to start the season. The 2nd most missed tackles forced by a player who has only played in two games this season is 11 by Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery. Moss is currently on pace to top his career high in missed tackles forced in season 24, which occurred last season.
The Colts expect Jonathan Taylor to return to the field next week when he comes off the PUP list. But Moss has earned a role on this team even when Taylor returns. A two-headed monster of Taylor and Moss should keep defenses up at night in preparation for having to bring these two to the ground.
