After a career-best season in 2023, injuries have yet again derailed a year of Tyquan Lewis' career.

As a result, he has only recorded 1.5 sacks this year but still has the chance to hit an incentive if he can have a big Week 18 performance vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Lewis is 1.5 sacks away from reaching three sacks on the season, which would hit an incentive in his contract. That incentive gives him an additional $100,000, but to reach it, he has to record as many sacks as he's had in nine games this season in Week 18.

It's possible, but it would likely require the Colts to give him more snaps than he has seen so far in 2024. With the Colts already eliminated from playoff contention, you would assume that would be doable.

However, it would also make sense for the Colts to finally take the reigns off of rookie Laiatu Latu, who they've played less than I and many others would have liked this season. With Latu primed for a larger role in 2025, you would think getting him more run to develop and build confidence heading into the offseason would be a high priority. However, the team has surprised me with multiple confusing decisions this season, so who knows what they will prioritize in Week 18.
