During Week 3, rookie CB Julius Brents made his NFL regular season debut with the Indianapolis Colts.
And his performance has led to the first big change on the team's depth chart of the season.
After just his first regular season game, Brents has jumped Darrell Baker on the team's depth chart and is now listed as the team's top corner. Brents forced a fumble during his debut and had a solid day in coverage. He was targeted five times on the day, and he allowed three receptions for a total of 18 yards.
Fans should expect some growing pains for the rookie, who will be thrown into the fire the rest of the way. But the amount of promise he showed in his debut is certainly exciting as the team hopes they landed a long-term starter at the corner position.
