The Indianapolis Colts (2-2) will host the Tennessee Titans (2-2) for their Week 5 matchup.
Both will be watching film attempting to identify each other's weak spots to exploit this Sunday. After the first four weeks, one of the Titans weak spots seems pretty clear.
The Tennesee Titans signed former Philadelphia Eagles first-round pick tackle Andre Dillard to a 3-year $29 million dollar deal this offseason. Injuries derailed Dillard's time with the Eagles, leading to him being mainly used as a depth lineman for the reigning NFC champions. The Titans chose to bet on Dillard's upside and gave him a three-year deal to become their new left tackle.
The experiment hasn't gone well for the Titans so far; as you saw above, he has allowed the largest pressure percentage on the Titans, and his 36.1% is the 4th highest in the entire NFL. Dillard has also been credited for allowing six sacks on the year, which is the most by any player in the NFL. Pro Football Focus has graded Dillard with a low 56.5 through the first four weeks, which is the ninth-worst grade for any tackle who has played at least 80% of their team's snaps this season. He has an even lower 46.8 grade for his pass-blocking, which is the second-worst grade for any tackle who has played at least 80% of their team's snaps this season.
If recent weeks tell us anything, the most common matchup Dillard will see this week is also a 2023 free agent signing in Samson Ebukam, who has been quite the signing for the Colts so far this year. Through the first four weeks of the season, Ebukam has the 3rd highest pass rush win rate in the entire NFL.
