The NFL's roster cut deadline may have been Tuesday, but that hasn't stopped the Indianapolis Colts from continuing to tune their roster.

They announced the signing of DE Jake Martin and multiple other moves to their active roster and practice squads.

Jake Martin, or Jacob Martin, has been in the NFL since 2018, when he was drafted with the 186th pick of the 6th round in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Since being drafted, he has been with four different teams, combining for 16 sacks and 29 QB hits.

Jake Martin's Career Stats:

  •  2018
Seattle Seahawks: 3.0 Sacks, 8 QB Hits
  • 2019
Houston Texans: 3.5 Sacks, 7 QB Hits
  • 2020
Houston Texans: 3.0 Sacks, 3 QB Hits
  • 2021
Houston Texans: 4.0 Sacks, 6 QB Hits
  • 2022
Denver Broncos (5 Games): 1.0 Sack, 1 QB Hit
New York Jets (8 Games): 1.5 Sacks, 4 QB Hits

Martin's calling card in the NFL has been his reliability on special teams. At times, he was the leader of that unit for his teams. The Colts recently lost WR and special teams ace Ashton Dulin, opening up snaps on special teams for others like Martin.
