Monday, the Colts added to their secondary as they announced the signing of Teez Tabor.

Teez Tabor is a hybrid corner and safety who was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2nd round of the 2017 NFL draft.

Tabor would only last with the Lions for two seasons. After his sting with the Lions, he jumped around the league for a few seasons before appearing with the Chicago Bears in the regular season in 2021. He spent the year with the Seattle Seahawks this past season, where he fully transitioned to strong safety.

The Colt's safety room has been hit with injuries so far in camp, as both starters Rodney Thomas II and Julian Blackmon have been sidelined. 2nd-year safety Nick Cross best translates as a strong safety as well, which means he will be the direct competition for newly signed Tabor.
