The Indianapolis Colts needed some good news badly today after suffering their sixth loss in seven games in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers. Thankfully, they finally got some just ahead of Christmas this week.

The NFL announced its Pro Bowl rosters for the 2025 season on Tuesday, and two Colts players earned the honor. Arguably, the team’s top two players on their roster, RB Jonathan Taylor and LG Quenton Nelson, will represent the Colts and the city of Indianapolis in this year’s Pro Bowl.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor and LG Quenton Nelson named to the NFL Pro Bowl

For most of the year, many believed Jonathan Taylor was the favorite to win the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year award. Sadly, the team’s injuries at QB and on the offensive line have derailed what looked like a special season for the RB. He likely won’t win that award now, but he has still been named to his third Pro Bowl and will hopefully become a two-time All-Pro.

Taylor leads the league with 17 rushing touchdowns and has converted more rushing first downs than any RB with 77. He’s second in the NFL with 1,489 yards, only trailing Buffalo Bills RB James Cook, who has 1,532 yards. Joining Taylor in the Pro Bowl is the leader of the offensive line that has been blocking for him all year long, Nelson.

This season, Nelson has played in every game for the Colts and has allowed only one sack, while being penalized only twice. He has been excellent at a consistent rate and more than deserves this honor. He has now been named to the Pro Bowl in all eight of his years in the NFL.
