The Indianapolis Colts continue meeting prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Florida State CB Jarrian Jones has a top 30 visit scheduled with the Colts.

Jones is a player in this class I'd categorize as one of "My Guys." If the Colts were to draft a slot CB in this year's draft, I'd prefer it be Jones in either the third or fourth round.

Jones started his college career at Mississippi State in 2019 before transferring to Florida State for the next four seasons. He saved his best for last by setting new career highs in total tackles (25), tackles for loss (5), sacks (1.0), and interceptions (3) last year.

The Colts just re-signed veteran slot CB Kenny Moore II to a new three-year deal. But outside of him, they don't currently have another slot option on the roster, which makes it a larger need than some may realize. While I think Jones' best role at the next level is in the slot, I think his solid size at 6'0", 190 lbs makes him a solid rotational option on the outside if he ends up needing to spend time there.
