There is plenty of time for the Colts to dig themselves out of this hole and win this football game. But it's becoming clear that this team has issues that winning this game or even finding a way to make the playoffs won't fix.

The Colts consistently find ways to show up flat in big moments in recent memory. Losing big games happens, and losing multiple in a row stings, but still, it happens. But showing up constantly in those moments and being outclassed and outworked is a major issue.

When the lights have been the brightest this team has found a way to falter under the pressure. The first-half performance against a Giants team that many view as the worst team in the NFL is just the newest occurrence. And this isn't going to chance with a minor coaching firing or a roster move or two. The Colts need a culture reset, but the question is, will owner Jim Irsay do it?

The Colts need to make major changes this offseason in hopes of changing a culture that time and time again looks damaged. The Colts need to find out the root of the problem that is causing such a disconnet from the meeting room to the football field. If that means firing general manager Chris Ballard, then do it, if its firing head coach Shane Steichen then do it, if that's moving on from quarterback Anthony Richardson then do it, even if it means all of the above you have to do it. And that isn't going to chance with a comeback win today against the Giants or securing a miraculous playoff bid next week. The Colts need a significant makeover, and they can't deny it any longer.
