The Indianapolis Colts failed to take control of the AFC South in Jacksonville.

They fell to the Jaguars 37-20 in a game that felt even worse than a 17-point differential.

Colts Offense:

They found a way to make it look closer than it felt on the day in the 4th quarter, but the Colts offense had a rough day. Gardner Minshew's return to Jacksonville was a disaster as he threw three interceptions and easily could have had more. They rolled with the passing game early, and because they trailed nearly the entire game, they had to abandon the run game altogether. It led to Minshew attempting 55 passes on the day. The Colts have to find a way to take some of the pressure off Minshew, or the offense is going to continue to struggle.

Colts Defense:

The Jaguars had the Colts number on both sides of the field today, anytime a team scores 37 points against you, it's hard to win. The offense didn't help the defense with all the turnovers, but the Jaguars marched all over the Colts in the first half to go up big and never really lost their control throughout the day. The youth on this roster showed up today, which is going to happen as players get more comfortable at the pro level. But you aren't going to win any game with that level of play from your defense, let alone a divisional showdown.
