The Indianapolis Colts recent struggles continued in Week 8.

They lost their third straight game, this time to the New Orleans Saints 38-27.

Colts Offense:

Good news, the Colts were able to continue their streak of scoring 20 or more points and remain the only team in the NFL to do so. Bad news, Gardner Minshew again through an interception, and his poor pocket presence counties to hurt the offense. My biggest gripe, though, on the day is not feeding Jonathan Taylor more in this one, who was the definition of dominant in the first half, rushing for 94 yards. He would only end the day with 95 as the team continued to balance their usage of Taylor and Zack Moss. While Moss performed well in his own right, going away from Taylor when he was at the best we've seen him all season was a mistake, and I hope it's one Shane Steichen learns from.

Colts Defense:

Struggling offenses are finding life against the Colts defense. The Colts secondary has been questionable all season, but today without their top corner (Juju Brents), they allowed Saints QB Derek Carr to throw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. And allowed 511 total yards to a Saints offense that has struggled this season. Tony Brown got the start over Darrell Baker Jr. and may have had the worst individual game we've seen from any Colts player this season. I think it's time to start asking if Gus Bradley's defensive scheme is the style of defense the Colts should be running long-term term. His seat should be feeling pretty warm right now.
