Quarterback is the biggest need for the Indianapolis Colts in the 2023 NFL Draft. Fortunately, it appears that general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen will have some good options to choose from when on the clock.

Aside from Bryce Young, who is expected to be the top pick, the Colts could potentially be choosing from three of the top passers on the draft. That includes CJ Stroud, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson.

All three have their pros and cons. There's a lot to like and some not to like about each of those prospects. However, there is one name that continues to gain more steam in regards to being the Colts' pick.

Kentucky quarterback Will Levis is the prospect generating the most smoke for the Indianapolis Colts. ESPN NFL Draft experts Mel Kiper and Todd McShay both predict Levis to be the Colts' pick.

Furthermore, NFL Network draft analyst and former scout Daniel Jeremiah also sees Levis being the selection for Ballard and Steichen. Jeremiah notes that there is real smoke connecting the QB to the franchise.

"There’s a lot of smoke connecting Levis to the Colts," wrote Jeremiah.
They stay patient and get their quarterback."

Levis has a big arm and some intriguing athletic ability that is attractive for a team looking to land their franchise signal caller, like the Colts. He struggled with being consistent on the collegiate level, but his upside is partially why he is a projected top selection.

Rumors and reports will continue to surface until Indianapolis officially makes their draft pick. Either at No. 4 overall or perhaps in a trade up. But in the meantime, Will Levis is the prospect being linked the most to the Colts leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft.
