Colts working out veteran tackle
Jesse Davis set to work out for the Colts
NFL insider Jordan Schultz announced Monday evening that the Colts would host veteran offensive lineman Jesse Davis.
Jesse Davis has been in the NFL since 2015 when he signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. He has started 72 games in the NFL. However, his 1st season with active regular-season snaps wouldn't come until 2017 with the Miami Dolphins, where he started ten games at right guard. He then would go on to start the entire 2018 season for the Dolphins before switching to tackle in 2019, where he's started a total of 46 games, most being as a right tackle. His most recent season was with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022, where he was a backup tackle for the team.
For a better breakdown of Davis's play, here are some of his PFF grades throughout his career:
- 2017: 50.0 run blocking, 55.6 pass blocking
- 2018: 55.0 run blocking, 69.3 pass blocking
- 2019: 53.6 run blocking, 59.6 pass blocking
- 2020: 58.6 run blocking, 62.1 pass blocking
- 2021:51.4 run blocking, 51.1 pass blocking
