The Colts have extended their first player of the Shane Steichen era today with Luke Rhodes getting a four-year deal worth a max of $6.465 million deal, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network

Rhodes is seen around the league by his peers as one of the best long-snappers in the NFL. The Colts have put significant financial investments into their starting kicker and long snapper in months. As the team gave Matt Gay the largest free agency kicker deal of all time this offseason, and now making Rhodes the highest-paid long snapper in the entire NFL.
