The Indianapolis Colts fell to 0-1 to begin the 2023 season, but the development of rookie QB Anthony Richardson will outweigh wins and losses throughout this year.

In his rookie debut, Anthony Richardson was able to put up a stat line that has never been done before by a NFL rookie in their debut.

As you saw above, according to Stat Muse NFL, Anthony Richardson was the first player to ever have a rookie debut with 200 + passing yards, 40 + rushing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and 1 rushing touchdown.

Anthony Richardson's Week 1 Stat Line:
24/37 (64.9%), 223 yards, 1 passing touchdown, 1 interception, 10 rushing attempts, 40 rushing yards (4.0 avg), 1 rushing touchdown

So, while the team wasn't able to get a win during Week 1, this solid start by Richardson should give Colts fans hope that the future is bright in Indianapolis.
